Donald Albert Dean Memorial Scholarship

In memory of Donald Albert Dean who empowered those who followed to achieve their competence in anything they chose pursue, it is the intent of the Donald Albert Dean Memorial Scholarship to encourage 1st Generation college students to pioneer new paths and directions through education. Students must be enrolled in at least 3 units and, although not a requirement, preference will be given to Science or Natural Resources majors, perhaps interested in teaching or field work. Preference will also be given to women, students who have overcome hardship and/or students who plan to eventually transfer to a 4-year college (need not be in the Fall). CRITERIA: 1st generation student enrolled in at least 3 units.
