Joseph Grillo Jr. Perseverance Scholarship

This scholarship is named in memory of Joseph Grillo, and honors his belief in perseverance and lifelong learning as keys to a rewarding life. Joe enjoyed many interests as a decorated U.S. Navy veteran, linguistics expert, banking executive, computer science pioneer, musician, world traveler and educator. He joined Columbia College first as an administrator and then as an instructor in business and computer science. Awards are intended for students pursuing business or computer science/information technology, with preference for re-entry students with financial need.
