Irving Cobb Memorial

By the family in memory of a former Columbia College Forestry instructor, Irving Cobb, it is the intent of this scholarship to provide financial assistance to a student planning to transfer to a 4-year college or university, majoring in the academic areas of Forestry, Physics, Biological Sciences, or Natural Resources, where Irving Cobb was most interested and effective in helping others during his career. CRITERIA: Resident of YCCD; full-time current student; plan to return to Columbia College in the Fall; GPA 3.0, calculated at end of Fall semester; majoring in Forestry, Physics, Biological Sciences, or Natural Resources. Must have completed a minimum of 24 semester units by the end of the current academic year; must intend to work toward listed major.
