Spiro Pippa Memorial Writer's Scholarship

This scholarship honors Spiro Pippa, writer and comedian, whose personality and wit always captured his audience. CRITERIA: Must be enrolled in at least 9 units and have completed at least 9 units at Columbia College; Must plan to return to Columbia College or transfer to a 4-year college in the Fall; Minimum GPA 2.5; Must be a resident of Calaveras, Stanislaus or Tuolumne counties; Major in English, Liberal Arts, Education or pursue course of study in journalism or literature. This is a writer’s scholarship, so the quality of the essay will be given high consideration.
