It is the purpose of this scholarship to award a re-entry student seeking to become a counselor in mental health or education. Student must be working towards a human services certificate or a psychology/counseling degree. CRITERIA: Must have completed at least 12 units during the prior term; must be enrolled in 6 or more units during the current term; plan to return to Columbia College or transfer to another college in the Fall. GPA of 2.0; majoring in Psychology, Human Resources, or Counseling (Education or Psychotherapy); must show financial need; preference to re-entry student 25 years of age or older.
