Science Discovery Scholarship

It is the intent of this scholarship to encourage and support students pursuing studies in the Natural Sciences and other related fields. It is expected that he or she be enrolled in at least 2-3 Natural Science classes in the Spring semester (Physics 4, 5; Chemistry 2, 4, 5; and/or Biology 2, 4, 6, 65). Enrollment in an additional Computer Science 5, 9, 15, 22, 24, 27, 55 or Math 17, 18 during Spring semester will improve the student’s chances for selection. Must have completed at least 21 units by the end of this academic year. Criteria: must be enrolled in at least 9 units during the Fall semester; must be enrolled in at least 12 units during the Spring semester; plan to return to Columbia College or transfer to a 4-year college in the Fall (additional Fall plans to be considered on a case by case basis); GPA 2.5; financial need will be considered. Must have completed at least 21 units by the end of this Academic year.
