Water & Power Pathways Scholarship

A scholarship offered by Wood Environment and Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. to encourage Columbia College students to prepare for careers in water, environmental science, and power, especially electrical and mechanical engineering. Renewable annually for up to three years. This scholarship is offered in cooperation with Hetch Hetchy Regional Water System, and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. CRITERIA: Enrolled in 9 or more units preferred; returning to Columbia College or transferring to another college next fall. Minimum GPA: 2.5. MAJOR: Pre-engineering or Engineering Fundamentals, including mathematics, chemistry, and physics; water resources management; water treatment; and environmental science. Potentially renewable annually with commitment to electrical/mechanical or power engineering, environmental science, or water resources, as a pathway to careers in water, power, and other public works fields.
