Columbia College #2 Faculty Scholarship (2nd choice)

The intent of this scholarship is to honor academic excellence in both the traditionally designated “academic areas” and the “vocational areas.” Consideration will be given to potential for continued success and, to a lesser degree, financial need and extra curricular activities These scholarships offer assistance to students to continue their education at Columbia College or transfer to a 4-year college or university. CRITERIA: Must have completed 12 units during the term in which applying; must be enrolled full-time at Columbia College during the following term; plan to return to Columbia College or transfer to a 4-year college in the Fall; GPA 3.5; must demonstrate financial need; must have completed at least 24 units at Columbia College by the end of the current academic year; letter of sponsorship from Columbia College certified instructor, counselor or manager; interview required.
